Herreshof 28, classic vetran ocean racer, long retired and ready for a refit, perfect project for a classic yacht lover looking for some genuine Australian yachting history, "Four Winds" is said to be the smallest yacht ever to complete the Sydney to Hobart Classic and competed between 1957 and 1961. Built in Sydney circa 1947 from New Zealand Kauri planked carvel hull, Canadian Beech laid decks and spotted Gum stringers, Original cotton main, jib and staysail also dacron main, jib and genoa, oregon mast, stainless standing rigging, 2 sheet winches and 2 halyard winches, formally owned by the legendary Stan Gibson and a veteran of 6 Sydney Hobarts amoung many other local races and long cruises, she is ready for major refit and a deserves a new life with an enthusiast.
